I was hoping that you would end 2010 in a blaze of glory...not in a massive nuclear explosion. Nevertheless elhumdellah, I discovered sides of me that never knew existed and for that I thank you.
You made me stronger and wiser. Sort of managed to push my emotions aside and not be too sensitive or be moved easily...still i'll miss the old me a bit but I'm aware that there's no room for it in the time we live in.
With that aside, I'm looking forward to what 2011 has to offer inshAllah : )

Daily dose of smiles
Don't know why people consider it rude or strange. It is said in our Islam religion that smiling is considered to be a good deed or as it is said in Arabic الابتسامه في وجه اخيك صدقه
Need to apply this golden rule more often. Believe you me walking with a smile in your heart (a massive grin might not be a brilliant idea) will reflect beautifully on people and will have a lovely effect.

Covet: Venetian Masks
Never have I been excited to buy a souvenir as I was when searching for the perfect Venetian mask on my trip to Italy. For me they are so, theatrical and grand. Love it!
Why should the world be overwise,
Why should the world be overwise,
In counting all our tears and sighs?
Nay, let them only see us, while
We wear the mask.
-Paul Laurence Dunbar
feeling under the weather
My apologies for performing a houdini for the past few days but I've been trapped with a nasty flu and fever. Will return in a few days my friends, but for now, I need a hot food, hot bath and lots of sleep.
